happy new year!

I agree with Carla, it's been too long!

I just wanted to invite anybody in the area to Southeast's Esther study on Tuesday nights starting January 13th. (they are doing it at other times as well but I thought it would be fun to get a big group of us together and do it.)

Also, I will be reading through the Bible chronologically again in 2009 if anyone would like to join me.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in 2009!

blessings,
karen

Hey girl!
You read my mind. I was thinking of you today and was going to go to your blog and here you are posting on KY Siestas.
Anyway, I was thinking about the Chron. Bible readings and your group...thinking about doing this with you all...will check it out on your blog!
Have a wonderful New Year!
I will be doing Esther on Wednesday AM with my home group and Thursday AM at SEC with Traci.

I'm not sure how it's all going to work. I guess I am "hosting" it. I just felt God calling me to read through again and I decided to invite everybody I know to join in. My daughter set up a group on facebook and I sent out invitations and then I put an invite up on my blog.

as far as the weekly postings go, if you want to do a recap, you can do it on your blog and then comment on the "a life worthy" blog to link back to it. I imagine I will be doing my recaps there. otherwise, you can comment about anything you are reading, if you don't want to do an in depth post. (I recommend some kind of post though for accountability sake.)

If this didn't make any sense, blame it on cold medicine and email me. :)

Karen,

I got a new chronological bible for Christmas from my husband and started it today. So excited to read through it this year. So I will go to your blog? I stay confused so no big deal.

Also, I see that Cheri told you that she and I are doing Esther on Thursday mornings. Should be a blast!

I am on Facebook also now (like I needed another site to keep up with ;-)
I just need a schedule for the readings and I will post on your site. I'm not sure if I will be able to be as consistant as you are girl, but I will try even if it's only a few comments.
Is there a schedule on the internet somewhere?

okay, I am a total dork about trying to do links through comments. So, if you go to
alifeworthy.blogspot.com and look for the post entitled "January", it will have the readings for the month there. I print those out and keep them in my Bible. My current plan is to post the month's readings three or four days before the new month. At this point, I am also planning on posting a review on Mondays. If I can wait that long. I've already seen some good stuff in the first few days. Or at least I guess I should say that God has shown me some things that I need to see in these first few days.

Traci, I am happy to have you along with the readings. I have to tell you that if you stick with it, you will NOT be the same by the years end. I have fallen so much in love with the Word this past year. God calls at my heart in ways that I cannot believe. It's a beautiful thing.

Hey, this is Angie! I am reading the Bible through chronologically with you all. I am not going to do a post, but I will visit here if you decide to post about what lingered for you in your readings! I'll be back anyway! Have a good week!
Love,
Angie xoxo
